We’re partnered with an e-commerce marketplace agency. Operating as a remote first agency, they welcome talent from all over the UK. Working with some huge household brands globally, they’re currently looking for an experienced Senior Account Strategist to join the fold, following a number of very exciting new client wins.


The Role;


A rapidly growing marketplace agency focused exclusively on online marketplaces such as Amazon, Walmart, eBay, and others, is looking for a Senior Account Strategist. As a Senior Account Strategist, you will lead the marketplace strategy and client relationship with their flagship clients. You will be well experienced in online marketplaces (especially Amazon) and assessing each component within a marketplace channel that affects performance - from listing page quality, to the marketing funnel to overall brand building - to diagnose, make recommendations and create an effective strategy that can hit specific goals. Working closely with their marketplace experts across multiple teams, you will have excellent communication and organisational skills that will allow you to manage multiple stakeholders and ensure everyone is aligned and on track with your strategy and deliverables. In addition, you will also lead client communication on your accounts; managing expectations and ensuring the client 'buys in' to your strategy as well as leading performance reviews and reporting to ensure clients understand the impact of your strategy on performance and the progress of delivery.

The Senior Account Strategist will need an ambitious and relentless mindset to balance fast-paced client communication with internal department development – helping to advance knowledge, efficiency, and effectiveness across the team - and be a senior thought leader within the company.


Responsibilities include:

· Lead strategy on Amazon and other 3rd Party Marketplaces (e.g. eBay) to hit client goals.

· Lead client communication, develop rapport & trust within client relationships through consistent, effective communication via emails, regular calls, and monthly reviews.

· Project Management: Organize & coordinate strategist teams to get results, drive accountability with clients & internal teams.

· Work with the team to standardize current account management tools: including performance indicators, escalation management, reporting, and more.

· Research and stay up-to-date on the latest trends & technologies as it relates to the digital landscape, Amazon, or marketplace platforms as a whole and the execution/ adoption of your findings.

· Other applicable duties, as assigned.


Your experience and competencies;


· 1-3+ years of Amazon experience.

· 1-3+ years of client-facing experience.

· Strong understanding of performance levers on Amazon (such as IPI score, account health, listing quality, 2+ years of account/project management experience in a digital marketing agency setting.

· Excellent communication and account management skills.

· Excellent organization/project management skills.

· Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data within Amazon Seller Central, Vendor Central, or other 3rd party Marketplaces to help initiate new strategies for existing and new clients.


-Knowledge of other marketplaces is a plus

-Knowledge of programmatic advertising strategy via Amazon DSP is a plus -Knowledge of other performance marketing platforms (Google, Facebook, Criteo, etc.) is a plus -Google suite proficiency -Excel proficiency


**The office is also a short walk from a train station so is commutable via public transport.**
