The Role;


Deliver high-quality paid advertising campaigns for clients of all sizes, up to and including the largest and most technically challenging accounts. Taking what can be complex client requirements and confidently leading the strategic direction to turn them into deliverable advertising campaigns while exhibiting excellent client management skills. You will foster a coaching and mentoring role within the team, helping to develop others.


Key Responsibilities

- Responsible for day-to-day delivery and management of large-scale advertising accounts (Tier 1 & 2 Clients).

- Collaborate on, coordinate, and lead campaigns and clients, including overseeing client sub-teams where required.

- Analyse trends, find insights, and actions in the large amounts of data at your disposal.

- Suggest and drive enhancements to both client projects and wider team processes, with support where necessary.

- Support the Client Services function with client reporting, statistics, and opportunities where required.

- Prepare for and lead meetings independently in order to confidently represent the advertising service in front of existing and prospective clients, up to the Board level.

- Support the Search Department’s workflow, deputising for senior staff when required.

- Use expertise and knowledge to further enhance the client offering, and support pitching for new business with both current and potential clients.

- Work independently to set personal deadlines and manage workflow in a fluid and dynamic way, while taking shared ownership and involvement with wider work planning.


You will work collaboratively with all levels but take the lead on decision-making where needed. You will push yourself and develop your own specialist advertising expertise, proactively sharing this across the team. You will have a thirst for knowledge and independently master new technologies and strategic approaches to client challenges and requirements.


Take ownership of driving process improvement, not settling for the status quo, and be innovative in your approaches. Embody your clients and immerse yourself in their business and the industry they operate in. Pre-empt client needs and requirements, be aware of external factors that could be opportunities for them, and, in turn, provide a new service or a greater depth of support.


Your experience and competencies;


This agency has a strong focus on personal development and knows that ‘good people’ can build upon skills to make them the right fit for the role. However, to hit the ground running, they do need you to have a certain level of experience.


For this role, you need to have:

- Proven ability to deliver successful creative and effective advertising campaigns in highly competitive markets.

And at least one of the following;

- Extensive experience with all aspects of running Paid Search activity.

- Extensive experience with all aspects of running Paid Social activity.

- Extensive online display and buying experience.

- Experience with supplementary channels such as Shopping and Video.

- Experience with digital marketing tools such as Google Tag Manager.

- Experience with Google Marketing Platforms or similar platforms, and ad exchange.

- Analytical skills to perform in-depth technical and competitor audits.

- Google Skillshop, Meta Blueprint, and/or other industry qualifications.
